Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Supervise accounting operations and finance staff.
- Develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide management recommendations.
- Coordinate audits and engage with external auditors and regulators.
- Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ICA, CIMA, or CPA (preferred).
- At least 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
