Due to system challenges on its application portal, the Ghana Armed Forces has extended its 2025 recruitment deadline by one week.
Ghana Armed Forces Recruitment New Deadline
The Ghana Armed Forces has announced in a press release that its nationwide recruitment exercise now closes on November 7, 2025, moving from the original deadline of October 31.
This extension was triggered by “technical challenges” encountered on the recruitment portal during the initial application window.
As cited earlier, applications must be submitted through the official portal at apply.mil.gh, and registration and verification are available at centres in all 16 regional capitals.
Key details & requirements
- The recruitment exercise began on October 1, 2025.
- Applicants must purchase an electronic recruitment voucher for GH¢200 from selected Ghana Post offices.
- Age limits: For non-tradesmen, 18-25 years; for tradesmen, up to 27 years.
- Education: Applicants must have the required academic credentials (including BECE and WASSCE requirements).
More importantly, the Ghana Armed Forces has warned that recruitment is “merit based only” and advised against falling for fraudulent schemes.
